The Hub at Fletton House, Glapthorn Road, Oundle

The Hub was recommended to me by a fellow blogger 'Adventures With One of Each' and I could quickly see why once I'd arrived. There was plenty of parking around the back of Fletton House and access into the coffee shop was easy. I didn't have any trouble with the pram and despite it being incredibly busy, there were a couple of tables to choose from with enough space for the pram and a highchair. There's also outside seating if it's a nice day.

I placed my order at the counter and was given a number to take back to my table. I much prefer cafes where they bring your order over so you don't have to juggle the baby and food/drink. The menu had a lot of choice with things like sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes, soup, wraps, paninis, cereal, crumpets, tea cakes etc. etc. They also have a children's menu where you can order half a sandwich, pom bears, a drink and sultanas for £3.25. I was impressed with the prices of the food and drink here and enjoyed my cup of tea and teacake. They had at least two wooden highchairs with straps and a tray (just like the ones in Costa).

What I loved about the Hub was the sofa area where there's space for children to play and a range of toys and books. Millie really enjoyed playing here and making friends with the other children. And there were A LOT of other children! I think there must have been a ballet exam happening as we kept seeing little girls in ballet shoes waiting for their turn. There are various rooms at Fletton House such as meeting rooms, a dance studio, a ceremony room and an arts and craft room so you see a huge range of people coming and going - it's great for people watching!

The changing facilities were in an accessible toilet which was big enough for the pram and had a drop down changing table with safety strap and one of the 'Angelcare' nappy disposal bins. It was very clean but the only downside is that there can be a bit of a wait with it being the only toilet for the cafe.

I really liked it at The Hub as the staff were so friendly, the service was quick, the food and drinks were good and there were toys to keep Millie amused. A big thumbs up from us both!
